23.04 - 02.08: Luc Tuymans Against the Day
Against The Day is de eerste solo-tentoonstelling van Luc Tuymans in Brussel. De tentoonstelling stelt, in wereldpremière, twintig nieuwe schilderijen voor die de toonaangevende Belgische schilder speciaal voor de tentoonstelling in Wiels realiseerde.

Lopende tentoonstelling (tot 31.05): Bruno Serralongue
De Franse fotograaf Bruno Serralongue duikt in de coulissen en de zijlijnen van een gebeurtenis om de authenticiteit van mediatieke beelden in vraag te stellen. Vanuit zijn gezichtspunt wordt de actualiteit artistiek.

Lopende tentoonstelling (tot 10.05): Speedy Wash stelt Jean-Baptiste Bernadet & Martin Laborde voor
Wiels Off Site: in een voormalig wassalon in het hart van Vorst trekken twee jonge kunstenaars met hun werken in.

15.04 19u: Servitude and simulacra: Film & ontmoeting met Jordi Vidal en Bruno Serralongue
Een experimenteel project dat de hedendaagse problematieken, met haar crisis en gevolgen, in vraag stelt. Met een inleiding door de auteur en na de filmprojectie (En) discussie met de kunstenaar Bruno Serralongue.

23.04 - 26.04: PA/PER View: Art Book Fair
PA/PER VIEW art book fair verzamelt 25 van de grootste Europese uitgevers van kunstenaarsboeken. Laat je laptop thuis en kom snuffelen tussen de titels van de belangrijkste spelers van het geschreven woord en beeld.

Against The Day est la première exposition solo de Luc Tuymans à Bruxelles. A cette occasion, l'artiste belge présente en avant-première mondiale vingt nouvelles peintures réalisées spécialement pour Wiels.

Exposition en cours jusqu'au 31.05: Bruno Serralongue
Le photographe français se plonge au coeur des coulisses et “à-côtés” d’une manifestation pour questionner le degré d’authenticité de l’image médiatisée. Sous son regard, l’actualité prend une forme artistique.

Exposition en cours jusqu'au 10.05: Speedy Wash présente Jean-Baptiste Bernadet & Martin Laborde
Un salon-lavoir désaffecté sur la Place Saint-Denis, en plein cœur de Forest, est mis à disposition de deux jeunes artistes.

Against The Day is the first solo show of Luc Tuymans in Brussels. At this event, the Belgian artist presents 20 new paintings which he created especially for Wiels.

French photographer Bruno Serralongue plunges into the heart and in the backstage of mediatized events in order to question the degree of authenticity of mass media images. Through his glance, current events become art.
